Seems like Kendall Jenner had handed over the baton to her little sister. Following the two covers of Canadian Elle, the 18 years old socialite Kylie Jenner covers one more December 2015 fashion magazine’s issue.
Kylie began her modeling career in 2010, but previously, she has been featured only on the covers of various teen magazines. So, one of the world’s most creative magazines, Interview teamed up with Kylie Jenner, one of the world’s most influential teens, according to Time magazine’s list, to make something very controversial before the end of the year. Of course, no one could have done it better than Steven Klein, one of the most highly paid and influential photographers of the fashion industry with a rather scandalous reputation. Kylie’s risque image was inspired by the ‘fetish’ mannequins of British pop artist Allen Jones. With a vacant expression on her face, she looks like a plastic doll dressed in bum baring latex, statement heels and liquid gold bustier all styled by Karl Templer. The hairstyles were created by Garren, makeup by Mark Carrasquillo and manicure by Yuko Tsuchihashi.
Kylie is expressing an interest in acting, and announced that she hopes to pursue an acting career, as she would regret later if she’s not giving it a chance now. She’s designing for fashion brands like PacSun, Steve Madden and Topshop, as well as working on charities. At the beggining of the year Jenner purchased a $2.7 million residense in California upon her 18th birthday. In september, she launched a lifestyle app called Kylie that was projected to earn $15 million in its first year. Looks like she’s a busy teen.
In her interview for the magazine, Kylie talks experimenting with her style as a way to figure out who she wants to be, her own bussiness plans, hobbies, childhood, anti-bullying Instagram campaign #IAmMoreThan and other life changes.
